Following the recent report that Liverpool had reached a deal with former Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp to be their new helmsman, more evidence has emerged that the two-time Bundesliga winner is on his way to Merseyside.

Squawka News posted a photo on Twitter of Klopp arriving at Dortmund Airport – which offers international flights.

Minutes after the photo was posted, Liverpool announced on Twitter that they were scheduling a press conference for Friday morning with a “major club announcement.”

Could the two be related? Possibly.

Liverpool need a manager after firing Brendan Rodgers following draws against Carlisle United, Bordeaux, Sion and Everton.

The 48-year-old Klopp has been on a sabbatical since leaving Borussia Dortmund, a club he led to two Bundesliga titles, four German football cups and a narrow Champions League final loss to Bayern Munich in 2013.
