Newly appointed Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has earmarked a move to make Sassuolo striker Domenico Berardi the first signing of his Anfield reign according to the Metro.

The 21-year-old forward has proven a big success at Serie A minnows Dress like ‘The Normal One’ as Liverpool flog Klopp costume in club shop, netting 42 goals in 102 domestic league appearances, and is considered one of the hottest prospects in European football.

Klopp may well feel Liverpool are in need of fresh attacking options having managed just eight goals in their opening eight Premier League fixtures of the season.

During his time in charge of Borussia Dortmund Klopp had made a move for Berardi but issues relating to his co-ownership, between Sassuolo and Juventus, complicated the situation.

Fortunately Sassuolo are now in full ownership of the promising young Italian Under 21 international and a move to Merseyside may well tempt the powerful marksman.
