Klopp already eyeing some exciting Liverpool transfers.

Liverpool‘s new manager Jurgen Klopp has set his sights on the hugely ambitious signing of in-form Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski.

The Polish international worked under Klopp at their old club Borussia Dortmund, and the pair struck up a fine working relationship as the now-Bayern star rose from relative obscurity to become one of the best players in the world.

According to the Daily Mirror, Lewandowski could be available in the near future despite his amazing recent form, with manager Pep Guardiola favouring a ‘false 9’-style player up front instead.

Manchester United were linked with the 27-year-old in the summer, while potential moves to Real Madrid or Barcelona have been played down as neither side need a new striker, which could open up the chance of a sensational reunion with Klopp at Anfield.

If this goes through it would certainly be one of the most exciting Liverpool transfers of recent years.
