Improving Derby will aim to continue their rise up the table when they take on fellow midlands outfit Wolves this afternoon.
Paul Clements side made a slow start to the season, drawing four and losing one of their opening five games.
Since the setback at Leeds however they have kicked into life, winning four and drawing one of their last five games.
Last time out they beat struggling Brentford 2-0, the result moving the club to the brink of the play-offs. The Rams are now just a place and a point behind Burnley and could climb into the top 6 with a win on Sunday.
The face a tricky task however as Wolves are also in strong form. The club, 9th in the standings, just two places and two points below their weekend hosts, have lost just one of their last 6 games.
Kenny Jackett’s side are chasing a third successive win having thrashed Fulham and Huddersfield by three goals in their last two games.
Games between these two have been high scoring affairs in recent seasons. Last season Derby hammered Wolves 5-0 at home before losing 2-0 away in the second half of the season.
In all there has been just one goal-less draw in the last 14 games while since 2005, four of their nine meetings has seen three goals or more scored.
Derby will be boosted by the news that Jason Shackell and Bradley Johnson are both fit. The pair had to be withdrawn through injury during the 2-0 win against Brentford prior to the international break but the two-week break has allowed them sufficient time to fully recover.
Craig Bryson and Jake Buxton have resumed training following lengthy lay-offs however they are not yet ready for first team action.
Wolves meanwhile will be without defender Ethan Ebanks-Landell for up to a month with a broken foot while Dave Edwards is expected to be in the squad after following his knee injury.
