With Arsenal hosting Bayern Munich on Tuesday night in the Champions League a look at a potential combined XI between the two sides is very much in order.
The Gunners may be hitting a good patch of form lately, but surely they aren’t a patch on the might of Bayern Munich and as squads go still lag some way behind their German counterparts.
As we can see, only three Arsenal stars have made the grade. Alexis Sanchez, given his form recently was never going to miss out as he would still likely be good enough to walk into the Bayern side as they are.
In the centre is Santi Cazrola, whose creative prowess has made him one of the Premier League’s most influential players, and therefore worthy of a place ahead of Bayern star Arturo Vidal.
And finally, at the back, there is a place for Laurent Koscielny, who has a case for being one of the most underrated centre-backs in Europe right now.
Sadly, because of who Bayern have, it means there is no place for Mesut Ozil…
