Thursday’s biggest Chelsea news and transfer gossip.

Chelsea and Belgium forward Eden Hazard, 24, is seeking a move away from Stamford Bridge to join Real Madrid, according to The Independent.

The report comes in the same week that Hazard seemed to ‘like’ a post on Instagram linking him with a move to Real Madrid.

Belgium coach Marc Wilmots is increasingly concerned about Hazard burning out at Chelsea and would welcome him moving to the Bernabeu, the Daily Mirror reports.

Wilmots is increasingly concerned about the fatigue levels and potential burnout for his 24-year-old midfielder because of the demands of playing for the Blues in the Premier League.

Former Liverpool and Manchester City midfielder Dietmar Hamann says Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho “looks like he’s begging for the sack”, talkSPORT reports.

The Portuguese has publicly criticised the likes of Eden Hazard, Branislav Ivanovic and John Terry this season, and Hamann insists that once the players lose trust and respect for their manager, ‘it’s over’.

However, Chelsea captain John Terry, 34, believes the club have “the best manager in the world” in Mourinho despite their difficult start to the season under the Portuguese, according to Sky Sports.

Jose Mourinho is insisting that Roman Abramovich makes a substantial offer to seal the transfer of Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann, according to the Metro.

Mourinho is understood to be a keen admirer of the French winger, with Chelsea reportedly failing in their efforts to bring the player to Stamford Bridge during the summer.
