Liverpool vs Rubin Kazan predicted line up: Jurgen Klopp forced to ring changes for first Anfield appearance

Posted by

Jurgen Klopp will get to taste that famous Anfield atmosphere as Liverpool manager for the first time tonight as his side welcome Russian side Rubin Kazan for their Europa League encounter.

However, the German tactician faces a selection quandary for his first home game with a number of first team stars out through injury.

Danny Ings, Joe Gomez, Jordan Henderson and Jon Flanagan are all missing with long term injuries, and while Daniel Sturridge, Christian Benteke, Roberto Firmino and Dejan Lovren have all returned to training this week, this match has come too soon for any of them to feature with Southampton coming up at the weekend.

Below is a starting XI that could seem slightly experimental, but given the level of the opposition, Klopp may decide to field a younger side with fringe players getting the opportunity to shine.
