A video has emerged online showing a young Cristiano Ronaldo showing an even younger Jesse Lingard all he needs to know about having quick feet when the pair were both at Manchester United.
United coughed up some £12.24m to bring the relatively unknown Portuguese winger to Old Trafford from Sporting Lisbon, and it’s fair to say that nobody had any idea just how far he’d go in the world game.
Under Sir Alex Ferguson, all players were enlisted to perform leadership duties for the club, and the video below shows an awkward looking Ronaldo taking the kids through their paces.
