Arsenal target Nolito confirms he won’t be joining the club in January

In form Celta Vigo forward Nolito has denied claims that he will join Premier League giants Arsenal during the January transfer window, according to the Daily Express.

So far this term the Spanish international has bagged himself six goals – including one in a victory over Barcelona in September – as the Galician side sit second in the table behind leaders Real Madrid (via Express).

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger failed to bring in any outfield players during the summer transfer window, but has stated that he could make a few moves in January should the right deals be available (via Express).

Arsenal, along with Barcelona have been heavily linked with a move for the 29-year-old recently, but the player has now seemingly shot both sides down by insisting that he won’t be going anywhere in the new year.

“God will decide my future,” he told Radio Marca.

“I’m not leaving in January. I’m happy in Vigo.
