Arsenal target move for classy Italian international striker

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is said to be keen on making a move for long-time target Stephan El Shaarawy, who is currently on loan with French side Monaco from AC Milan, according to the Metro.

The 22-year-old has struggled to live up to the enormous reputation that he garnered for himself at the beginning of his career, and has so far only found the back of the net twice this season.

However, despite that, Wenger is still keen on the Italian international, and has been monitoring him closely, with reports claiming that he could still yet make a move to bring him to The Emirates.

When he first broke into the Milan side, El Shaarawy was often compared to Real Madrid megastar Cristiano Ronaldo, while he cited former San Siro legend Kaka as his own personal inspiration.
