Championship side Sheffield Wednesday will be out to continue their Capital Cup run when they host Premier League side Arsenal later tonight.
The Owls have been on a superb run of form of late, winning five and drawing three of their last eight games in all competitions.
Included in that run is a 1-0 win over Newcastle United at St. James Park in the last round.
Despite the prospect of knocking out their more illustrious rivals, Wednesday are set to make changes to the side that beat Rotherham 2-1 at the weekend.
The Portugese tactician has given his side a “10% chance” of beating Arsenal telling reporters, “We will fight for the whole match and we will be competitive. It will be interesting to see how it goes. We have probably a 10% chance of getting through. It is not very much but it is better than zero.
“Zero means you can do nothing, 10% means we will have 10% of the chances and we have to grab them.”
The win moved the club up to 9th in the standings, just four points off the top 6 and with that in mind, Coach Carlos Carvalhal is set to give his fringe players a run out.
The Owls last beat Arsenal back in 1989 and will be without defender Michael Turner, midfielder Alex Lopez and attackers Marco Matias and Modou Sougou.
The Gunners meanwhile moved joint top of the Premier League at the weekend with a 2-1 win over Everton.
The club are now level on points with Manchester City with just goal-difference keeping them off the top of the table.
Injuries mean that Arsene Wenger won’t be able to rest certain players with Petr Cech all set to play in the absence of the injured David Ospina.
Mikel Arteta, Aaron Ramsey, Jack Wilshere, Tomas Rosicky and Danny Welbeck are all out while Per Mertesacker is available again after illness.
