David Beckham has identified Paris Saint-Germain‘s Zlatan Ibrahimovic as his No. 1 transfer target as he looks to get his Major League Soccer franchise in Miami off the ground.

Beckham is reportedly keen to build a new stadium on the existing Orange Bowl, the legendary home of the Miami Dolphins, with the new MLS franchise pencilled in to join Major League Soccer at the beginning of the 2018 season.

According to L’Equipe [via the Daily Star], Beckham wants to make a major signing to launch his new team, and is targeting former teammate Ibrahimovic.

The two men played together at both AC Milan, in 2010, and at Paris Saint-Germain three years later, and it’s clear that Zlatan possesses the kind of star power to make a major impact across the Atlantic.
