Friday’s biggest Arsenal news and transfer gossip.

Arsenal are set to recall winger Serge Gnabry, 20, from his loan spell at West Bromwich Albion, according to the Daily Telegraph.

Gnabry’s loan spell at the Hawthorns will be discussed by the two clubs in December and it appears increasingly likely that an agreement will be reached to cut the season-long deal short.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is considering Kieran Gibbs, 26, as an emergency winger after losing Theo Walcott, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Aaron Ramsey to injury recently, according to the Daily Mirror.

Wenger confirmed Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will both be out “until after the international break” after picking up injuries in Tuesday’s defeat at Sheffield Wednesday.

Arsenal are reportedly one of the sides on alert after Lyon defender Samuel Umtiti expressed an interest in a future transfer to the Premier League, the Metro reports.

The France Under-21 international is regarded as one of the best young players in Ligue 1 at the moment, and is also on Chelsea’s radar.

Arsene Wenger has refused to rule out making any signings in the January transfer window, the Daily Star reports.

Wenger is content to wait for the crocked group to return but he could be tempted to dip into his transfer kitty.
