Real Madrid: Ronaldo to Manchester United rumours increase after pal’s revelation

Jose Semedo has admitted that he expects his pal Cristiano Ronaldo to return to England, as rumours of the forward moving back to Manchester United continue to swirl.

The Portuguese attacker has reportedly grown disillusioned with life at the Bernabeu following the arrival of Rafael Benitez, and he has made little secret of his enduring affection for Manchester.

Indeed, Spanish football expert Guillem Balague recently intimated that the superstar forward has a deal in place to leave the club in the summer.

However, while the pundit suggests that the former Sporting Lisbon player will be heading to Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain, Jose Semedo—who played with Ronaldo in Portugal—has revealed his expectations for his compatriot’s future.

“He’s very happy at Real Madrid and he loves English football, he loves the English and, deep down, I think he will return to England,” Semedo began, as per Le 10 Sport.

“He would not like to end his career without returning to England,” the Sheffield Wednesday midfielder continued, “he’s said he would love for Real Madrid to be in England, but that’s impossible, so I think he will finish his career in England.”
