Liverpool and Everton target move for La Liga outcast Cristian Tello

Both Liverpool and Everton are said to be eyeing a move for Barcelona outcast Cristian Tello as he prepares to seek a permanent exit from the club, according to the Metro.

The 24-year-old is currently on loan with FC Porto after being frozen out of the side at the Nou Camp, and now Portuguese publication A Bola is reporting that he has emerged as a top target for the Merseyside giants.

However, the Metro reports that a move would seem more likely to go ahead at the end of the season rather than in January, as his loan deal with Porto comes to an end at the conclusion of the current campaign.

Liverpool may well look to bolster their attack in the coming months. Having scored only 12 goals in the league so far, they have failed to kill off games by drawing five matches in a row (via Metro) and it seems that they still lack the spark that was provided to them by Raheem Sterling last term.
