According to reports in Italy, Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur have all been linked with a move for Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi. However, while fans of these clubs may well be excited about securing the talented Argentine forward, the arrival of Wanda Nara may also delight one or two.
Icardi may be struggling in Serie A this season, he’s managed only three goals in nine outings for Inter, who currently lead Serie A, but the forward is a fine and creative talent who should offer goals and innovation to any club that takes the plunge on signing him.
Roberto Mancini may have dropped the forward last weekend for the high-profile clash against AS Roma, but Inter would still reportedly demand a fee in excess of €35 million for their captain.
As well as Nara, Icardi brings some baggage, not least the soap-opera story of how he ended up with his current partner.
Model Nara was previously the wife of current Torino frontman Maxi Lopez, but after her former husband took Serie A new boy Icardi under his wing in order to help his compatriot acclimatise to life in Italy, she decided she’d have more fun playing away.
So Nara left Maxi and married Icardi, less than six months after handing in her divorce papers.

Lopez’s loss is certainly Icardi’s gain and, if the rumours are true, Liverpool, Tottenham or Chelsea may be set to benefit soon.
