Arsenal and Man United prepare to pounce on loan move for Daniele Rugani

Both Arsenal and Manchester United are believed to be preparing a move for young Juventus centre-bakc Daniele Rugani as he looks set for an exit from the Italian champions in January, according to the Daily Express.

The 20-year-old has been a substitute for all 11 of his side’s games so far this term with reports now surfacing that he could look to move on for more game time in the new year.

Rugani has spent the past two seasons on loan with Empoli, making 72 appearances and scoring five goals during that time.

And though he made a positive impression of himself out on loan, he is still currently stuck behind the experienced trio of Giorgio Chiellini, Andrea Barzagli and Leonardo Bonucci, and has so far been unable to convince manager Massimiliano Allegri to give him a chance.

He is still under contract with Juve until 2020, but now looks set to move on. Arsenal were linked with a £13m move for him over the summer (via Express) but now face competition from the likes of Fiorentina, Napoli and United.

The Express closes their report by stating that Juventus will be looking for a fee of around £15m for his signature.
