Manchester United great DESTROYS current United midfielder LIVE on TV

Former Manchester United midfielder and captain Roy Keane has torn into current Red Devils midfielder Ashley Young following the latter’s recent antics.

England international Young has a reputation for diving, and he was at it again in the Champions League on Tuesday.

In a collision with CSKA Moscow defender Georgi Schennikov, the winger hit the ground dramatically, seeking a penalty.

The incident—which came 15 minutes before the end of the game—ultimately didn’t result in a sanction for either man. Young was let off for his blatant simulation, while the referee opted to award a goal kick rather than a penalty.

While former Aston Villa man Young wasn’t shown a yellow, he couldn’t escape a tongue lashing from ex-United midfielder Keane.

“If he’s a Manchester United player, I’m a Chinaman,” said the former Ireland international, speaking live on ITV. “It’s absolutely disgraceful.

“The senior players need to get hold of him. That shouldn’t be accepted at Manchester United.”

United ultimately won the match thanks to a late effort by Wayne Rooney, who had previously been out of sorts.

The win takes Louis van Gaal’s side up to first place in Group B. They are one point ahead of PSV Eindhoven and Wolfsburg, and three ahead of bottom club CSKA Moscow.
