Inter Milan target move for veteran Chelsea full-back Branislav Ivanovic

Italian giants Inter Milan are believed to be scouting veteran Chelsea star Branislav Ivaonvic ahead of a possible free transfer at the end of the season, according to the Metro.

The 31-year-old has been a peripheral figure at the club so far this season, but Italian publication Calciomercato claim Inter are still thought to be keen on making a move for his signature should he be allowed to move on over the summer.

Ivanovic missed out on Chelsea’s Champions League victory over Dynamo Kiev during the week, which would have surely disappointed any watching scouts from Inter. But his non-inclusion in match day squads has been a recurring theme this season and may not be offered a new deal to stay at Stamford Bridge.

The Metro also claims that Inter have had their scouts trained on Tottenham duo Erik Lamela and Jan Vertonghen as they seemingly plot an ambitious triple Premier League raid.
