Norwegian pundit and former Premier League striker Jan Aage Fjortoft has claimed that Liverpool will launch a big move to sign Schalke star Leroy Sane in the new year.
The 19-year-old has impressed for the Bundesliga side so far this term, bagging five goals in 15 appearances, with The Metro claiming that Arsenal have already been linked with his signature.
However, the ex-Norway international, who now works as a pundit with Sky Germany, believes that Liverpool are keen on a deal for the teenager, and manager Jurgen Klopp will launch a move to bring him to Anfield.
Fjortoft has a reputation of breaking transfer rumours on his personal Twitter account, and now is seen as somewhat of an insider.
