Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham transfer target & Golden Boy 2015 nominee encouraged to move clubs

Paris Saint-Germain starlet Adrien Rabiot has been encouraged to consider his options by BeIN Sports pundit Luis Fernandez.

The young midfielder has starred for the reigning French champions in recent matches—notably the 1-0 defeat to Real Madrid—but still isn’t an automatic first choice for Laurent Blanc.

The French youngster and Golden Boy nominee has made only five starts for the Ligue 1 giants in the league this season, and is struggling to assert himself ahead of Blaise Matuidi, Marco Verratti and Thiago Motta, who opted to remain at the Parc des Princes this season.

In October, as reported by L’Equipe [via the Express], PSG confirmed that they were open to selling Rabiot, news which may well have alerted the Premier League quartet of Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur, all of whom have been linked to his signature.

Speaking to BeIN Sports [as per Le 10 Sport], current Guinea coach Fernandez has dropped a hint that the competition at PSG may prevent Rabiot from realising his potential in the French capital.

“He has qualities and talent,” the former PSG coach began. “He needs to progress in order to establish himself.  There is a lot of competition at Paris Saint-Germain and it’s up to him to make a place for himself.

“He has qualities, but it’s up to him to work hard.”
