(Video) WWE’s Wade Barrett breaks into Old Trafford: ‘I’m waiting for you, Wayne’

After Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney stunned the world by slapping WWE superstar ‘King’ Wade Barrett on this past week’s edition of Monday Night Raw in Manchester, the boisterous pro wrestler decided to pay Old Trafford a visit to pay Rooney back for embarrassing him in front of the entire world.

Barrett showed up at the club locker room and noticed Rooney’s kit, calling out Rooney and saying, “I’m here Wayne, where are you?” before grabbing a chair and sitting down, waiting for the Red Devils captain to show up.

During the episode of Raw, Barrett taunted Rooney in front of the crowd, ultimately walking up to Rooney and poking him in the chest – which earned a strike to the face in response.

The slap also distracted Barrett’s tag-team partner Sheamus, which his opponent Cesaro capitalized on to win the match.

After the show, Barrett promised to go to Old Trafford and finish what the two of them started.

Barrett has been calling out Rooney since the start of 2015 due to the Man United captain’s alleged dive during last season’s FA Cup tournament.

Will Wayne Rooney answer Barrett’s taunt and settle their differences in the ring?

We’ll just have to wait and see.
