Manchester United are said to be winning the race to sign highly-rated Chelsea midfielder Charly Musonda in the January transfer window, according to the Metro.
The Metro reports that Musonda is becoming increasingly frustrated at his lack of opportunities to break into the Chelsea first team, and is now on the brink of leaving Stamford Bridge at the soonest opportunity.
And according to French publication Foot Mercato, the 19-year-old could be on his way to Old Trafford after the Red Devils emerged as favourites to land his signature.
The Metro claims that United will make a bid table an opening offer of around £10.6m to bring the youngster to the northwest.
Arsenal, Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain are all thought to be the other prominent European side to have displayed an interest in the player’s signature (via Metro).
