The agent of hot shot Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski has hinted that the Polish international is a target for Liverpool, according to the Daily Mirror.
With Jurgen Klopp now at the helm at Anfield, links between the two have naturally resurfaced given the good nature of their relationship during their time working together at Borussia Dortmund.
And though his electric start to the campaign would require Liverpool to stump up a truly astronomical offer to prize him away from Bayern Munich, agent Maik Barthel has confirmed that there is some interest in his client from the Premier League.
“It would be wrong to say there is no interest [from the Premier League],” Barthel told German publication SportBild.
“[But] all of us should respect that Robert has a contract at FC Bayern.”
