Arsenal told they can sign Marseille striker Michy Batshuayi for £35m

Marseille president Vincent Labrune has said that he would be willing to listen to offers for Arsenal target Michy Batshuayi providing they are around the £35million mark, the Metro reports.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is said to be ‘bewitched’ by the Belgian forward, and is believed to be lining up a move for the 22-year-old when the transfer window opens in January (via Metro).

Batshuayi has been in flying form so far this season, bagging himself nine goals in 13 appearances so far, and though Labrune states there is heaving interest in the youngster he won’t consider selling for anything less that £35million.

“There is not a single top 15 world club that is not interested in Batshuayi,” Labrune told La Derniere Heure.

“He is one of the most wanted players on the market. There were a lot of offers for him this summer, but he did not want to leave.

“He is proving himself on the pitch. And if clubs want him then they are going to have to pay up. Around €50m!”
