This past weekend Real Madrid legend Raul capped off his incredible football career with a NASL title win for the New York Cosmos.
For five years after leaving his La Liga home Raul continued to play at a high level, whether it was for Schalke 04, Al Sadd or New York, even at an age where an overwhelming number of footballers would’ve already retired.
In the spirit of Raul’s ability to keep going strong after age 35, we’re taking a look at some of the football starts still going strong when they should have already hung up the cleats.
