Manchester United are facing somewhat of a striker crisis for this weekend’s meeting with Watford, as both Wayne Rooney and Anthony Martial have been declared out of action.
Manager Louis van Gaal confirmed on Friday that Rooney is suffering from illness and is in no fit state to take to the pitch, while Martial picked up a foot injury during Tuesday night’s friendly with England at Wembley.
With that in mind, United will need to undergo a dramatic reshuffle to take on The Hornets with a few youngsters and a few out of form senior members being drafted in.
