(Video) Luis Suarez goal gives Barcelona El Clasico lead over Real Madrid

Luis Suarez opened the scoring in El Clasico to give Barcelona an advantage over their fierce rivals Real Madrid.

The effort—the forward’s tenth of the season—came in the eleventh minute, following a sublime assist from Sergi Roberto.

While the striker has been in fine form of late, and has successfully shouldered the burden during the injury absence of Lionel Messi, Roberto also deserves credit for the way he has quietly established himself as a key man at the Catalan giants.

The goal puts Real Madrid in unfamiliar territory, as it is the first time they have been behind in a match so far this season.

However, with the likes of Gareth Bale, Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema and James Rodriguez all starting for Los Merengues, there’s no shortage of firepower as they look to reassert themselves in the contest.
