With Saido Berahino toiling on the West Bromwich Albion bench, he has emerged as a transfer target for Manchester United and a variety of other clubs for a January transfer. Last season he played all 38 Premier League games and scored 14 goals – good for a top ten finish.
Since the start of the 2015-16 season though, it’s become obvious that Berahino is not getting along well with his club. After being denied a transfer during the summer, Berahino vowed never to play for Tony Pulis again before swallowing his pride and returning to the team. However, this past week he was a healthy benching in the team’s 2-1 upset win over Arsenal.
While Berahino is certainly a solid option for Man United, the Red Devils can certainly do a little bit better.
