In form Arsenal man Mesut Ozil has confessed that though he is happy with life in London he cannot rule out returning to the Bundesliga in the future, according to the Metro.
The Germany international has been one of the club’s standout performers so far this term, and as a result has reportedly been in talks over a new deal to extend his stay.
However, in an interview with German Publication SPORT1, he stated that he does not know where his longterm future will lie.
Asked about moving back to Germany, he responded: “You never say never. Quite honestly, I do not know.
“I feel very comfortable here currently. London is a great city to live.”
Ozil is aware that he sometimes receives criticism for not finding the back of the net often enough, but he insisted that he is more of a team player and does not feel the need to seek out goals in order to get a quick ego boost.
“I am an absolute team player. I don’t need goals for my ego. Whoever is positioned best in front of the goal should shoot.”
