Chelsea are said to be preparing a huge offer to sign Tottenham striker Harry Kane during the summer transfer window, according to the Metro.
The report claims that The Blues are on the lookout for new options up front as current trio Diego Costa, Radamel Falcao and Loic Remy have only managed to chalk up four goals between them so far.
And now the Daily Mail are claiming that the current Premier League champions are preparing to launch an all-out offensive to prize the England international away from White Hart Lane at the end of the season.
However, The Metro state their belief that Spurs won’t be too keen on letting their prized asset go to a domestic rival.
But the report goes on to say that Chelsea are looking to build a new look core of English players, and will continue to monitor the striker’s situation, especially as both Manchester United and Bayern Munich are also said to be interested.
Chelsea will meet with Tottenham in the Premier League this weekend, thus giving The Blues the opportunity to take a closer look at him.
