United stand a good chance of leapfrogging the impressive Foxes this weekend, though it will by no means be an easy task.
The Red Devils still have a few injuries to key players, while some remain out of form, and they will need to be on guard to prevent Jamie Vardy equaling Ruud van Nistelrooy’s goal record.
Leicester City is on a four-game winning streak and a six-game unbeaten run to seize league leadership from Manchester City last week.
However, United displayed a staunch resilience in the win over Watford last weekend, and won’t be beaten easily themselves.
See below how we think they’ll line up…
GK: David de Gea
The Spaniard was at his world class best last weekend to produce a string of fine saves to keep his side ahead. He’ll likely require more of the same this week.
RB: Matteo Darmian
Wasn’t at his best last week, but thanks to Valencia’s injury he will walk into the side.
CB: Daley Blind
Blind is fast becoming an unsung hero at United, but will have his hands full this weekend.
CB: Chris Smalling
One of the Premier League’s standout players this term, and an equally standout performance will be required of him again on Saturday.
LB: Marcos Rojo
Rojo has slowly been forcing his way back into the side in recent weeks, and will offer more defensive stability than Ashley Young.
