(Video) Chelsea loanee Jeremie Boga scores audacious effort in Ligue 1 clash

Chelsea loanee Jeremie Boga scored one of the goals of the weekend when he gave Stade Rennais the lead away at Stade de Reims.

Teenage forward Boga—who is eligible for France and the Cote d’Ivoire—finished off a sublime team move after Kamel Grosicki chested the ball back into his path.

The youngster duped the defender with a wonderful touch and a turn of pace, before hammering the ball past Kossi Agassa, who could do little to block the terrific effort.

18-year-old Boga—who was born in Marseille—moved to Chelsea in 2008 after featuring for local side ASPTT Marseille.

He shone in the Blues academy—despite the immense competition—and established himself as one of the jewels in Chelsea’s crown…at least as far as youth players are concerned.

The forward has yet to represent the Pensioners at senior level, but has already featured for France U16s and France U19s. He made an impact with Rennes’ B team earlier in the season, and made his debut for the first team in the middle of September.

While Boga gave Rennes the lead, Reims fought back and equalised through Aissa Mandi before Nicolas de Preville gave them the lead following Jaba Kankava’s red card.
