Twitter: Arsenal star drops MAJOR hint that he’s heading for Turkish giants in January

Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina has given a major indication on social media that he’ll be leaving the Emirates Stadium in January.

According to Turkish Football, Ospina has been heavily linked with a move to Turkish giants Besiktas in recent weeks, and has apparently fuelled the speculation with his recent Twitter activity.

The Colombian has whipped up a social media storm by favouriting tweets sent to him which appeared to call for the stopper to join the Istanbul heavyweights during the upcoming transfer window.

In the first tweet, one fan shares a picture of the Besiktas goalkeeper kit and urges Ospina that the shirt is waiting for the Arsenal backup to come and claim it.

In the second tweet—in Turkish—the fan makes Ospina aware that the Black Eagles fans are already behind him and that they will put pressure on the club’s board to ensure the transfer goes ahead.

Despite the departure of Wojciech Szczesny to AS Roma, the arrival of Petr Cech from Chelsea has pushed Ospina down the pecking order at the Emirates Stadium.

Besiktas are apparently keen on signing a new stopper following the failed move for Victor Valdes during the summer, but it remains to be seen whether they are still considering a return for the out-of-favour Manchester United stopper.
