Real Madrid ready to cash in on sex-tape striker & Manchester United, Arsenal transfer target

According to Wednesday’s El Confidencial, Real Madrid are willing to cut ties with France striker Karim Benzema following the forward’s recent sex-tale-blackmail scandal.

Benzema is accused of playing a role in a recent bid to blackmail the forward’s France teammate Mathieu Valbuena about the release of a potentially damning sex-tape.

In light of the scandal, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is understood to have cooled on Benzema’s importance to the Merengues, with the club chief concerned that Benzema’s latest headlines threaten to undermine the club’s brand and reputation.

This summer, the forward reportedly had a market value of approximately €60m, with Manchester United and Arsenal both linked to the striker.
