As this video shows—posted by the former on his Instagram account [rami7oficial]—the two Brazilians are clearly still able to unwind off the pitch despite the ongoing turmoil at Stamford Bridge.
Typically, it’s Kenedy and not Ramires who is celebrated for his technical prowess and ball skills, but as this vid demonstrates, the former Benfica midfielder has some tekkers of his own and isn’t just the one-track workhorse that he’s often made out to be.
In this clip, the 28-year-old is captured—presumably in Chelsea’s Cobham training ground—taking a pot shot at a ball balanced on his compatriot’s head.
Beyond being a magic demonstration of Ramires’s skill, perhaps this video ought to also serve to illustrate that despite the doom and gloom at Stamford Bridge, the players are still finding an opportunity for moments of brevity behind the scenes.
Whether Jose Mourinho would be impressed or not is another matter though!
