Arsenal poised to lose scoring genius if dropped from Champions League

It is do-or-die for Arsenal‘s Champions League ambitions when they take on Olympiacos in their final match of the Champions League group stage. Simply put, unless Arsenal win, they won’t advance to the knockout stage. Should the Gunners fail to continue on in the Champions League, one of their star strikers could very well decide to abandon ship.

According to the Metro, Alexis Sanchez is willing to leave Arsenal in the summer transfer window should the club be eliminated from the Champions League. The source reported that Sanchez has been linked with a transfer move to Real Madrid and Manchester United, and would be a hot commodity in the transfer market if made available.

Though he got off to a slow start in his 2015-16 campaign, Sanchez has still managed to put up big numbers. He has six goals and an assist in the Premier League with another three goals and four assists in the Champions League.

Arsenal will be without Sanchez when they take on Olympiacos due to an injury.
