Real Madrid and Barcelona set for transfer battle over Serie A starlet

Juventus ace Paulo Dybala has reportedly attracted the interest of both Real Madrid and Barcelona with his form so far this season.

According to Tuttosport, the Catalan giants appear to have made the biggest move thus far by sending scouts to the Bianconeri’s clash with Sevilla in the Champions League on Tuesday night.

Juventus lost the game 1-0 after a goal from former striker Fernardo Llorente, and in turn that saw them finish in second place behind Manchester City in Group D which promises to have made their route in the knockout stages more difficult.

Meanwhile, Dybala has been a target for Barcelona previously, but opted to join Juventus in the summer after a successful spell with Palermo earned him a move to Turin.

Having scored eight goals and provided four assists in 21 appearances in all competitions so far this season, the 22-year-old has overcome some initial difficulties under Massimiliano Allegri to establish himself as an integral part of the Italian’s squad.

As a result, it would make little sense for Juve to be interested in selling the talented youngster who also recently made his bow for Argentina.

Nevertheless, having sold the likes of Arturo Vidal and Kingsley Coman in profitable deals last summer, there is a suggestion that the Serie A champions could be swayed if they receive the right offer.

It is unclear at this stage as to whether Dybala would be interested in a move to Spain given that he is only just establishing himself with a top side in Italy, but naturally a switch to either Barcelona or Real Madrid would be a tough one to turn down.
