SPOTTED! Alexandre Pato was at Stamford Bridge to watch Chelsea beat Porto on Wednesday night

One of the names being heavily linked with a move to the Premier League in January has been that of Brazilian international striker Alexandre Pato.

Several English giants have been keen on bringing him back to Europe in the new Year, though sides from Italy and Spain have also reportedly registered an interest in landing his signature.

Barcelona, Liverpool, Spurs and Manchester United are all being credited as favourites to snap him up, but so far Chelsea have been absent from that list of potential suitors.

However, that could be set to change after he was spotted taking in The Blues’ 2-0 Champions League victory over FC Porto at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night.

Chelsea are struggling in front of goal this term, with question marks hanging over the futures of both Diego Costa and Radamel Falcao highlighting further their need for more firepower.

Corinthians are said to be willing to accept €25million for Pato. The former AC Milan star still has one year to go on his Corinthians deal and will be available on a free transfer in January 2017.

With Alexandre Pato at Stamford Bridge last night. Glad to meet you Pato. Ontem depois do jogo com o Pato.
