Chelsea monitoring move for Monaco ace Bernardo Silva

Posted by

Chelsea are rumoured to be keen on making a move to sign talented Monaco midfield ace Bernardo Silva, according to reports in Italian publication Tuttosport.

However, they will face some serious competition from Serie A giants Juventus, who are also looking to prize him away from the French side after just one season.

But Blues boss Jose Mourinho is hopeful that his previous relationship with the Portuguese youngster will help his side beat the Italian champions to his signature.

Silva has been in red hot form for Monaco already this season, bagging three goals goals in 16 appearances in the French top flight so far, with reports claiming that he has done enough to warrant a place on Chelsea’s wish list.

But Monaco know the value of the player, and will make any interested party cough up at least £21million to prize him away from the principality, though it likely won’t happen until the summer.
