Angel Di Maria: Paris Saint-Germain winger reveals club he dreams of playing for

Paris Saint-Germain winger Angel Di Maria may have only moved to the French capital during the summer, but the Argentine international has already revealed that he dreams of playing for another side.

Speaking to Stade 2 [as per Le 10 Sport], the wideman has confirmed that he has two dreams, one of them being to win the Champions League (among other honours) at the Parc des Princes, and the other being to return to his boyhood club Rosario Central.

“I have two dreams,” the winger began. “The first is to win the Champions League with Paris, to finish happily here, to respect my contract and to win many titles with PSG.

“However, the most important is to return to and finish my career at Rosario Central.”

The 27-year-old played with Rosario for 15 years, learning his trade as a youth player between 1992 and 2005, before breaking into the senior side in the middle of the last decade.

He made 35 league appearances for the Argentine side, before being picked up by Benfica in 2007.

Di Maria then went onto Real Madrid, where he won the Spanish title and the Champions League crown, before moving to Manchester United in 2014.

He may have been deemed surplus to requirements at Old Trafford, but as his performances in France have shown this season, Louis van Gaal was perhaps premature in offloading the World Cup finalist.

Di Maria has contributed nine assists and scored four goals so far in 13 Ligue 1 outings so far this term, while he has also bagged three goals in six Champions League showings.
