Eva Carneiro in line for Chelsea return if she wins legal dispute

Former Chelsea doctor Eva Carneiro could be in line for a shock return to the club at the end of the season if she was her ongoing legal dispute with them next month, the Metro reports.

Following a high profile fall out with manager Jose Mourinho at the beginning of the campaign, Carneiro left her position in September and has since filed a constructive dismissal case against the club, with the final hearing set to go before an industrial tribunal in the new year.

And accruing to reports, she is thought to be keen on making a surprise return to Stamford Bridge to re-take up her role as first team doctor should she win the case.

The 42-year-old is also seeking damages from Mourinho for sexual discrimination after he allegedly used insulting language towards her during the game against Swansea on the opening day of the season.
