Having had Luis Suarez and Steven Gerrard as free-kick takers in recent years, Liverpool fans understandably get very frustrated when James Milner whips in a bang-average dead ball at Anfield these days.
Surely Milner is not the best at the club when it comes to set-pieces? Well, judging by a recent Instagram video uploaded by 22-year-old defender Jon Flanagan, the Reds could have an better – but unlikely – alternative among their ranks.

Incredibly, Flanagan looks so casual as he places the ball into the top bins from long range.
Flanagan has had severe injury problems and has not played for the Reds since May 2014. He’s set to be back in action soon, though.
Should Jurgen Klopp put him on FK duty?
Flanagan has scored just one senior goal in his career to date. In came from open play in a 5-0 win at Tottenham Hotspur in 2013. The picture at the top of this article was taken while Flanagan was celebrating that goal. As you can see, he was VERY excited!
