The Foxes beat off interest from Arsenal to sign the midfield powerhouse from Stade Malherbe Caen during the summer, and the youngster has wasted little time in adapting to the EPL.
Many deserved plaudits for Vardy & Mahrez, but if there has been a better signing than Kante this season, I haven’t seen him.

He has effectively replaced last year’s stalwart Esteban Cambiasso in the heart of the park, and has shone so far this season, emerging not only as one of Leicester’s star men, but also as one of the Premier League’s outstanding individuals.
Lineker is certainly impressed, and has identified the Frenchman as his best signing of the season on Twitter.
Defensively, Kante has been outstanding so far this season.
He has averaged four tackles per match and four interceptions per match, putting him among the most effective defenders in the division.
Arsenal, who could have done with Kante, particularly in light of Francis Coquelin’s three-month injury absence, will surely be regretting their inability to secure a move for the 24-year-old during the summer.
