Chelsea players turn on troubled twosome Cesc Fabregas and Diego Costa after Leicester defeat

Chelsea’s ongoing stinker of a season just seems to go from bad to worse after a number of the club’s stars have turned on out of form pair Diego Costa and Cesc Fabregas, according to The Sun.

The Blues lost their ninth game of the season against Leicester on Monday night and now sit just one point above the relegation zone. And after the game, manager Jose Mourinho launched a scathing attack on his players by claiming that they had ‘betrayed’ him.

But it now appears that the discontent is spreading through the dressing room as The Sun report claims a number of players are turning on Costa and Fabregas for their continued poor performances.

They are apparently unhappy that Costa got off without punishment for throwing his bib at Mourinho recently, while they remain completely mystified at Fabregas’ ongoing poor form.

On Wednesday it was reported that the Chelsea board held an emergency meeting about Mourinho’s future, and should a replacement be brought in, it is clear that he will have some major issues to iron out.
