Festive Championship action continues on Thursday as the camera’s head to Molineux for the clash between Wolves and Leeds.
The sports channel is showing 10 live games in 10 days in the build up to Christmas with the showdown in the Midlands, their 7th offering.
Both sides will have into the game in the bottom half of the table and showing inconsistent form.
Wolves have lost just one of their last 7 games but they have struggled to convert draws in to wins, sharing the spoils on four occasions and winning just two games, so three points here would prove a vital boost for the club as we move into the busy Christmas fixture schedule.
Last time out they drew 1-1 with Nottingham Forest, a result that left them 14th in the standings but just six points off the play-off places.
Leeds meanwhile are four places below their Thursday opponents, also struggling to put together a string of results. The Yorkshire side have lost four of their last 10 games but have picked up four points in their last two games.
A 2-1 win over Hull in round 19 was followed up by a 0-0 draw with Charlton last time out.
A lack of goals has been one of the main problem for Steve Evan’s side. Leeds have scored just 18 goals this season, the fifth lowest in the division behind Bolton, MK Dons, Charlton and Preston. The club have failed to find the net in four of their last 7 games.
While the club have struggled in front of goal, they have also been unable to keep clean sheets.
The blank against Charlton was just their 4th of the season and owed much to the form of former Chievo stopper Marco Silvestri.
The Italian keeper came into the line-up following an injury to Ross Turnbull and has impressed since, enough to ensure that he will be between the posts on Thursday.
Wolves won 4-3 when the two sides met in this fixture last season and are unbeaten in their last 3 meetings.
It should be an interesting tussle from Molineux tonight with both these sides struggling to find that vital constancy with their results.
Both managers will know that three or four wins on the bounce during the Festive period would set themselves up nicely for 2016, so three points for either club could make a significant difference.
Whatever the outcome though, we should be set for a cracker at Molinuex tonight.
