Manchester United could be set to reignite their interest in Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos after he became the latest of the club’s stars to become unhappy with life at the Santiago Bernabeu, the Daily Mirror reports.
The former Bayern Munich star has been linked with a move to the Red Devils in the recent past, but David Moyes missed out on the opportunity to bring him to Old Trafford, and now current boss Louis van Gaal remains a fan.
But despite being regarded as one of the world’s best players in his position, the Germany international is said to be unhappy with falling out of favour at the club under Rafa Benitez, and is suffering a similar situation as James Rodrigues, who we reported earlier is also a target for United.
And though it isn’t sure as to whether United are still in the market for another midfield player, their lengthy pursuit of him in the past could spark them to take a closer look at him once again.
