Who’s in, who’s out? Chelsea coaches CULLED along with Mourinho, could players follow? Carneiro set for return?

Reports have confirmed the names of the Chelsea coaches who have been axed along with Jose Mourinho, as Guus Hiddink headlines Roman Abramovich’s revival.

The Daily Telegraph have confirmed the names of the four coaches to have left Stamford Bridge along with the Portuguese manager.

Rui Faria, Silvino Louro, Jose Morais and Carlos Lalin have all been axed from the club, following Mourinho out of the door, although first-team coach Steve Holland—who led the team to victory against Sunderland on Saturday—and Eddie Newton have been retained.

Mourinho was dismissed in midweek, with the Blues only one point above the relegation zone, having lost nine of their opening 16 matches.

Hiddink will be charged with returning the reigning champions to their former glories—or at least close enough—although he may have to oversee an overhaul in the squad.

Diego Costa and Cesc Fabregas were booed by the Chelsea fans when their names were read out ahead of the bout against Sunderland, while Oscar has been constantly linked to the exit door following a stream of underwhelming showings.

John Terry, Branislav Ivanovic, Loic Remy, Nemanja Matic and Falcao are the other names to have been tipped for the exit door after sluggish starts to the campaign.

But what of arrivals?

The prospect of Eva Carneiro returning to the club, with her nemesis Mourinho now gone, were raised by the Daily Telegraph, although the broadsheet noted that the Blues have also “lodged a formal defence against her sex discrimination and constructive dismissal claim.”

Perhaps Blues will need to wait for the beloved Carneiro to return.
