A source close to LOSC Lille forward Sofiane Boufal has admitted that while the Morocco international is almost certain to complete the season at his current club, there’s every chance of a move next summer.

Boufal has been one of the stars of the Ligue 1 season in France so far this term, and as such, has been linked with a move to several major sides.

Both Liverpool [France Football] and Tottenham Hotspur [France Football via Le 10 Sport] have been linked to the player, with the 22-year-old also being tipped to move to Paris Saint-Germain as a potential successor to Ezequiel Lavezzi [Parisien].

Speaking to the Parisien, a source close to Boufal has revealed what observers should expect from the player, and given his prediction on the North African’s future.

“There’s 99.9 percent chance that he’ll finish the season at LOSC,” the source began, “but a deal could well be put in place in January.”

The insider’s comments suggest that PSG could look to complete a deal for Boufal in January and loan him back to Lille for the remainder of the season, or that terms could be agreed for the Moroccan next month, with a view to a permanent deal being finalised in the summer when Lavezzi’s contract at the Parc des Princes comes to an end.
