Adam Bogdan will make his Premier League debut in goal for Liverpool after Simon Mignolet was ruled out of their trip to Watford with a hamstring problem, via LFC official Twitter
Mignolet, who has started all 16 of Liverpool’s top-flight games this season, failed a late fitness test and so the summer signing from Bolton Wanderers will deputise between the sticks.
Bogan last played in the Premier League for Bolton in May 2012, but insists he is ready for the test of a Watford side who have won their last three games and are above the Reds in the table.
The Hungarian international’s only three previous Liverpool appearance have come in the Capital One Cup. His promotion to the starting XI is one of four changes made by Jurgen Klopp.
James Milner and Dejan Lovren are both injured and Christian Benteke drops out of the team which drew 2-2 with West Bromwich Albion, with Roberto Firmino taking his place up front.
Lucas Leiva is recalled in midfield, while Lovren’s absence is compensated by the return of Mamadou Sakho, who has missed Liverpool’s last seven matches, in central defence.

The Hornets are unchanged from their 1-0 win at Sunderland. Troy Deeney and Odion Ighalo have 10 goals between them in Watford’s last seven games and start up front in a 4-4-2 formation.
